+ Cedar Ridge Camp goes online.
Cedar Ridge Camp is an outdoor camp, retreat, and education center. 1north created a brand new face on the web for the camp.

Press Release:
Cedar Ridge Camp of Louisville Kentucky is now on the web. This Presbyterian based summer camp offers high ropes courses and outdoor education in addition to the traditional summer camp festivities. Cedar Ridge Camp is located on 64 wooded acres just 4 miles from the Jeffersontown/Taylorsville exit off of the Gene Snyder Freeway. Our grounds and facilities include a 2-acre lake offering canoeing and fishing, many hiking trails, several creek beds where fossils are plentiful, a high and low ropes course, 2 picnic pavilions, 18 rustic cabins, 2 winterized retreat facilities, and a large meeting space complete with commercial kitchen. The camp also offers supplemental, experiential learning to children in grades 1-12, from public, parochial, and home schools, during the school year in the areas of High Ropes Course, Teams Course (Low Ropes Course), team dynamics, living history, writing and literature, and science and nature.

Outdoor Education means hands-on learning for students in Grades 1-8. We provide 45 minute classes on a variety of topics. The children arrive from their schools by 10:00 am, enjoy their sack lunches, and are ready for the ride back to school by 1:00. We encourage teacher and parent participation and expect teachers and parent chaperones to be responsible for discipline and organizing lunch, leaving our outdoor educators free to teach their subjects. Feel free to log on to our brand new website to learn more about our summer camp dates and to register for any of our classes.
